USGA Rule 10: states it is the responsibility of the golfer alone to find a line, except on the green. Restriction: The player and caddie cannot lay lines on or off green to find line. ( lay is defined by touching) BalOut is ‘Completely’ legal.

It does not ‘lay’ lines on green. A ‘live view’ with zoom, you decide line.
